The Grubolis are a family of oddball creature-characters from Silverware Games, each one full of personality, bad habits, strong opinions, and the kind of face you do not forget. This is your first introduction to a few of them, presented in the form of their very real dating profiles, because the Grubolis always put the wrong foot forward. Selfish, smug, bizarre, unfinished, and deeply convinced they are doing great, these perfectly imperfect little monsters are here to make an unforgettable first impression.

Snarb's mantra is, “What's in it for me?” If he helps you out, you must be REALLY lucky. He only looks out for number one, and is very careful not to step in number two. Was there another cookie left? Don't ask Snarb about the crumbs on his face. Somehow, those are your fault. Greedy, prickly, and permanently unimpressed, Snarb has the rare gift of making selfishness a full-time hobby.

Lord Deem is absolutely certain there is a right way to do everything, and by an astonishing coincidence, it is always his way. He is always ready with a correction, a proclamation, or a deeply unwanted speech about how decent creatures ought to behave. If you step out of line, Lord Deem will snitch so fast it will make your head spin, then stand there looking deeply pleased with himself. He does not just follow the rules. He enjoys using them as a personality.

Spud has never fit in, and at this point, he considers that a personal achievement. He listens to nails on a chalkboard to relax and wears socks in the bathtub. Normal behavior is a challenge he fully intends to fail. If everyone goes left, Spud will spin in a circle, because going right is too obvious. He is deeply proud of his weird ways, which he considers a secret nobody else is cool enough to understand. Strange, stubborn, and almost impressively committed to being different, Spud is the kind of Gruboli who can put a square peg in a round hole purely out of spite.

Wip is always on the verge of something huge. The idea is brilliant, the timing is almost right, and the only tiny problem is that nothing is ready, the files are on another computer, and the presentation has somehow vanished. He is forever building, revising, tweaking, rethinking, and nearly arriving, usually with the confidence of a Gruboli who absolutely meant to do it this way. Not unfinished exactly, just permanently pre-finished, Wip is the kind of creature who can turn almost-ready into a lifestyle.
These are just the first four Grubolis to crawl into the light. More are on the way, and they are not likely to be any better adjusted.
